If you do a search you will most-likely find a good write-up by a member on ezactly what it takes to do this:I bought (used) one if the ultra high priced units from a member on here that he had bought new a few months before-the ultra expensive unit has a rather crappy set of brackets at the bottom that fit into our '99-'04 trucks w/o mods-this all said I like the grille looks on my '99 F350!!!

Yep, it is all bolt on. I would do the whole thing, don't just do the grille. Otherwise you have to cut your grille to fit your bumper. But do a quick search, this is a hot topic...

Here is a pic of mine. I just got a new grille through the local junkyard for 100 bucks. It took me about an hour to cut it down. I am just using the top four screws to hold it in. I would have liked to do the whole '05 bumper but couldn't afford that at the time.

I got my grill from these guys. Pre-cut ready to go. They include a bracket to snap in the lower like the original. IMO if you have a '99~01 they look dumb without the headlights changed out too.
