Real important question on smoke
) but now I'm a few hundred short of a new IP, lately at 7am its been between 42-50 degrees, first cold starts of the day are simple a split second and shes running so glowplug system is A+ but it just dumps out smoke it is diesel its not coolant and it will go away after about 2-3 minutes with the truck on high idle. Now heres the kicker I usually turn key to glow and push in the gas pedal before the truck starts to go into high idle and this is when it dumps smoke, today I started the truck without high idle (it was 41 degrees coldest yet) and the truck wasnt smoking at all I gave it gas and when it started to go into high idle it only gave a puff of smoke.Could this be like a cold advance piston inside the pump is busted or filthy fuel filter?
