BTW,another question. Is there any reason NOT to use the vc-9? I was wondering if there was a chance of breaking crud loose and prematurely plugging up the oilo cooler or something. Is this a possibility since I am not having any problems of any kind (that I know of)? I will be getting an Insight in a couple weeks and if my temps. are good should I just flush with distilled and not use the vc-9? I wouldn't think that waiting a couple weeks to do the flush would hurt anything since 90% of the trucks on the road have never (and prob. will never) had a coolant flush. I'm not against using the vc-9,just made me think about the possibility of creating problems. Opinions please!! Thanks again!!! Boy,I'm a PITA!!!LOL!!

Use the VC-9. I shared your concern some time ago, but not any more. It is not going to break crud loose in my opinion. Time is not critical, you don't have to take off work early to go do it. Just fit it into your short term schedule. The autumn is a good time for most people. Winter is a good time here in So Cal. It's a miserable job to do in the heat of summer.
