Sorry, been dealing with other issues, but yes, the new radiator solved the problem 100%... in fact it almost runs TOO cool! Driving the truck, the factory sucky gauge comes up quickly to the N on Normal and stays there all day long, hot, cold, A/C or heat on, hills or flats... So for the record, this one is in the books...
here in victoria bc, i can run the dual core alum radiator. always runs cool unless i am loaded and then i can see 210 but not much more. I bought the alum rad for 325, the damn copper brass ones are over 700 here on the island. I think even 800 at some parts stores. All about that import tax and duties, . Cant wait to get a copper brass lifetime for the same as a dual core alum haha
Where did you pick up a dual core radiator at? I am thinking of upgrading radiators myself because my truck is running hotter again. Not overheating but stays around 220-230. Damn fan will not stop running and tired of the power drain.
