Axle dropped down:
New spring pack in place:
New track bar relocation bracket:
Upper spring bracket and new U-Bolts installed:
New front shock installed:
Before and after, front 2.5" level kit and 4" F350 rear blocks:

I would think you would need one, otherwise the front axle will shift off to one side. Though I don't know how much difference 2" will make. But its always funny to drive behind one of those guys with a big lift where you can see that the front and rear wheels don't line up in the same track anymore!

You can also get an adjustable trac bar. For just a leveling kit, I would leave the stock bracket alone and go the adjustable trac bar route.
