Tranny service question or two
Went to a local dealer and asked for a price for a fluid change. I'm closing in on 60k. He asked if I wanted a filter change. I said I'm not sure. This is the first time I've had it done. Bought it when it had about 40k and the book said due at 60K. He asked how many miles and I said 59k. He said not needed. Is he right? This also kind of shows whose opinion I trust more.
Also without filter, it would be $145. That's the heated flush too. Is that about the normal price?

The internal filter in the transmission pan doesn't need to be replaced it is just a screen.....although I replaced mine at 100K. But you do need to change your external filter...(toilet paper roll every transmission change or every 30K.)
