Hey all .... just joined this forum a few weeks ago and have another question.
I just bought a 1999 F 350 DRW 7.3 with 143000 miles
My question is .... I think there is a program on this truck ... because under heavy boost it goes to 20 psi as reflected on my boost gauge ..... and our tech who has the same year diesel truck ( i work for a ford store ) thinks my truck has a program on it too.
Our programs generally safe with this type of motor and tranny. Should I just leave it .... runs fine ...
My intentions with this truck is to by a tag long 34' trailer .... ( i can steal it from a good friend who has never used it !!! ) .....
I am content with the factory program ..... just wanted the opinion of the forum ..... also by removing the program and using the factory program will i pick up fuel economy ?
