Weird idle problem after long trip
Ok so I took my truck on a 800 mile trip this past week. After I returned home the next few days I noticed after the truck was warmed up and driven for awahile and after shutting it off and restarting it 15 minutes later it does not want to idle very well and almost dies for about 10 seconds. If you give it some gas it will smooth out and idle just fine after that. It almost acts like the fuel may be getting hot in the rail and making it not run right. Like I said it only does this if it has set for 15-20 minutes. If you let it set a couple of hours this is not a problem. And it does not do this on cold starts either. It is a 1995 f150 5.8L 48,000 miles. What do you guys think. I also checked codes and did the KOER test and passed both with no problems. Thanks in advance.
