I finally installed the 06 Tahoe 2nd row seats in my 55 this past weekend, once I fabbed-up the brackets it went very easy great fit, now I just need to find some headrests; the price was right for the condition so I had to get them w/o headrests, or I can cut off the prongs which I really don't want to do.
Thanks, these are for the 2001-06, they ae 58" wide other years may fit also there is also a guy on here who used the 3rd row seat which looked great also.
All I can say is I luv that color on the fat fenders and a 57 i had. Damn nice truck ya got bud. Been planing on doing the 62 uni back to it's oem black. But that blue on yer ride has got me thinking AGAIN. Can ya share the color and paint code pls.

Yeah those look great...I have the 3rd row seat from a 2007 Tahoe and they are the same 58" I believe. Yours look much more "plush" than mine and seem to set back further which is nice! Good score and nice work!
Looks great.
Is there any room behind the seat for storage? Or is there even a way to get behind that seat when it is installed? Did you include any adjustment (forward/back) in the brackets for another driver shorter or taller?
There isn't much room behind the seats and they don't slide forward/back, but the the bottoms flip up & the backs down. There is room under the seats that's where I have my speaker box, tool box, & jack. I went to the local pull-a-part and found some gray headrests from a 1998 S10 Blazer which fitted perfectly; however, they are cloth so I went to see how much it would be to have them done in vinly of the same color $40 each, I don't think so I can live w/$12 cloth headrests for now.
