I might not be the norm on this, but I went with the Monroe Reflexes about 2 weeks ago and love them. O'reillys had a rebate going on, buy 3 get the 4th free. I originally went in to get the Rancho 9000's, but left with the monroe's. I have a 2wd, do not tow anything too heavy and never go off road, so I could not justify the extra money for the Ranchos. They came with a lifetime guarantee.
I did a lot of searching on this site and most on here and most run the Bilsteins or the Ranchos.
I bought the reflexes to about 2 months ago.. I didn't have the cash for billsteins & had a busted shock & needed something.. So far, 1500 miles & I like them
I'm gonna go with the monroe reflexes for $48 each.
It sure is vague on what you get for your money with shocks. Monroe has shocks from $21 to 80, and their website really does not list any specific differences, weight capacities, or other criteria to justify the price difference.
