Did anybody else notice a new advertiser here on FTE, Automotive touchup? http://www.automotivetouchup.com/
I happened to seen the banner yesterday and decided to check it out. After hunting all over to find somebody that actually still makes my color (Palisade green) the only major paint company that had it was Sherwin Williams. The ad here said they could get any color, so I put mine in and sure enough they have it in little bottles, paint pens, spray cans and even in premixed pints and quarts.
From your sig, your car is 1950, is that right? My dad has a 1958 truck and he tried ordering paint online from Touch Up Paint Online - Remove Car Scratches. The guys there contacted him and said that it will only be a "close match" since the car is 50 some years old and that the original paint would have probably changed color by now. But my dad still ordered it since he was repainting the whole car.
So in case you didn't know that, the paint you get will be brand new paint and it might be far off compared to the paint you have on the car.

Hmmm, it's not the same company, the one you linked does not go back past 1957 on Ford trucks. They seem to have only select colors available.
I would suggest you get to know a painter at a local body shop. A good painter can tint paint to match the fade on your older car. I have a camera(most paint jobbers do) that will give you a close formula, have it mixed in single stage, then have the painter at the body shop tint it for you, just takes a little time and patience.
