Retrofitting accessories

I've got a couple questions regarding retrofitting later model parts to my '90 F-150. My truck is extended cab, long box, 4WD.

First, I found a set of nerf bars from an '03 extended cab truck. Is the cab length between a '90 and an '03 the same where these would fit? I understand that I may have to drill the frame to attach them, so length is really what I am asking about.

Second, would a bench seat from a '96 fit my '90 as a direct bolt in? I'm pretty sure it would but just wanted someone's opinion who may have done a similar swap. Maybe the mounting stud locations had changed after the '92 redesign?

Thanks -

C.J.
