DR. PEPPER! When I was a kid, my dad delivered Dr. Pepper and 7up. He used to drive the pop truck down our narrow street in the city and wheel a couple cases right into our house! Sometimes the stores would refuse the shipments if they were overstocked wiht a particular kind of pop, and the drivers got paid by how many cases they delivered so thats all we drank.

I'm with the other Mtn Dew addicts. Where's that option? Although I've got to say Mtn Dew Throwback (the one made with real sugar) is definitely the best.

They still deliver pop around here in the plastic cases with 12oz glass bottles... Their coke is pretty good, and they have other flavors like strawberry and vanilla

KIRI Double Strawberry :: KIRI :: non-alcoholic beverages, spring water and demineralized water, delivery

Coke, then Mtn. Dew for me, but we generally don't keep soda around the house, so I don't drink much of it. Because my work is physical, though, I drink plenty of Gatorade--Glacier Freeze, I think is the flavor. It's light blue, whatever it is, and we get the powder and mix it at high concentration in hot water first to fully dissolve it so that it doesn't taste gritty.

Diet sodas are nasty--with one exception: Diet Coke makes great Rum'n'Cokes. I don't drink those much anymore, either, though. I try to avoid artificial sweeteners, they just feed sugar addiction.

Most of my liquid intake consists of coffee, followed by water. I do enjoy a soft drink with dinner, which is always Coke Zero, or Diet Coke. No Coke Zero on the poll so I voted Diet Coke. Growing up my favorite "coke" was either red cream soda or regular cream soda.

I'm a coke person but honestly I'll drink any kind of pop (I'm from the north). I used to drink MTN Dew but dang it goes down too fast. Lately though I'm all about Coke Zero, although even with no calories I still think it's bad for me and I drink it anyway...

Anyone ever heard of Moxie? That is the Maine state soft drink and I must say, it's horrible. It originated in Maine as snake oil, the perfect cure all.

Talking

I tend to drink about six Cokes for every Pepsi, although since the "throwback" Pepsi showed up, I've been stocking up on it. Same goes with Mt. Dew Throwback. Once in awhile I get on a kick and will pick up an RC Cola, but that's pretty rare for me. I also like ginger ale (Canada Dry or Schwepp's get the nod there, but no real preference.) I did'nt used to care much for Dr. Pepper or 7-Up, but once in awhile I'll pick up a 2 liter bottle at the grocery store and stock the fridge. Same goes for Squirt, mainly because it mixes well with bourbon.

And then there's my whole coffee addiction thing...

i like most any pop.. but it all depends on its packaging.. (ie plastic bottles, glass bottles, or cans) i like a cold coke in anything, pepsi i only really enjoy in a can.. but then i like dr. pepper and mt. dew, pib also tends to be a favorite.. 7 up, i really enjoy the cherry verietys, especially cherry 7 up...

does any one call coke-cola dope?? i remember my grandpa,(who was raised in west virgina, and born in the late 20's) used to say after spending a day workin on the trucks or mowin the lawns, lets go get a bottle(or can) of dope... so we'd each get a coke(any one who helped out) and then hed buy a king size candy bar and he'd cut it up with his old rusty old timer knife.. grandpas been gone for a few years now, but i still cut the grass and go buy my self a coke and a candy bar if i got the money.. (and i have his knife now too)

and when ever i drink either coke or pepsi, i also get a slight taste of bacardi gold rum..(really enjoy our bacardi with coke or pepsi around here)

I had to go with Pepsi. I like the regular Pepsi and Wild Cherry Pepsi. Like MT. Dew too. For diet soft drinks, have to go with diet Coke tho.
