Lots of Super Duty's on the Market

I keep hearing about the 2011 Super Duty's with the 6.7 hard to find. I just drove down from west Texas to Houston and seen many of them at different Dealers. The largest inventory I saw was a Killeen, TX Ford Dealer off Hwy 190. I counted 16 and one in the show room. A super small Dealer in Caldwell, TX had four lined up. Every Dealer I saw had at least two, maybe more and many had 7 or 8+. Is this just a Texas thing or is it folks not paying attention?

I will say it is a Texas thing. Pickup sales are huge in Texas and 6.7's are distributed by allocation. If you sell few trucks you get fewer 6.7's. This is why the self claimed but not disputed largest F series dealer in the USA is in the small Nebraska town of Blair. When I bought my new truck there last June he had over 150 6.7's in stock.

Regards

The dealer here in FSJ has about 15-20, and down the highway in DAwson Creek they have about a dozen.

In Victoria where i just moved from both, actually all three had maybe a couple combined.

There is one dealer around here with a few 2011s, mostly gas and XL. The 3 closest dealers to me have a total of one 6.7 and 3 6.2 2011s. Mine is only the 2nd 6.7 those 3 have sold. That is why I had to order. Not much chance of finding what you want on the lot.

I've yet to see one on the lot at Sapp Ford In Baxley GA. The Brunswick GA. Dealer had 4 and all 4 sat there untill last week now they only have 1. A friend ordered 1 from them a few weeks ago, (Long Bed) and it's supposed to be here in a few days.

My guess on 6.7 trucks sitting in dealerships for very long is that the dealer is hanging on for the big kill deal. This is why knowing a way to get at least an "X" plan pin is important.JMO

I forgot to mention that they also have a dedicated heavy truck department that specializes in 250 and larger sizes - Up to Semi's I believe.

there shows to be only 8 2011 f 250's in my area. which has 2 million people in the metro area. however there is quite a few f350's maybe those are more popular. but most of those are short beds there is probably like 35-40 f350's in my area. but I think of those 80% are short beds, and none of them that I have seen have anything but the gray interior. I consider the short beds mostly a soccer dads type truck, so its a bit surprising so many of those are f350's

that is why I ordered mine, light gray interior stains and shows dirty something horrible. and I wanted a long bed.

cummins...

A 2011 F350 Lariat SRW CC SB FX4 towing a 13000 pound Big Horn 5th wheel all over the country for construction work is a "soccer dad" truck?????? I am crushed...I have never played soccer. Lots of football, baseball and hockey, raced dirt bikes quite successfully and I am a pilot. First time I have ever been called a soccer dad.
