Electrical problem

Electrical problem
So out of the blue today, I try to leave the lumber yard, hop in the truck turn the key...(wait for it).........Nothing! Sometimes you turn the key and no lights come on at all, sometimes they are very faint, sometimes they come on like nothings wrong. Either way it doesn't do anything except click, sometimes. Cleaned the battery cables, no voltage drop between battery and starter solenoid. No opens between fusible links that I have found. I have 12.5 volts going to the distrubution box. I'm not to sure where to go next. I am going to clean up all the grounds and see if that helps, But I am lost because it was out of nowhere that all this happened.

How old is your battery? Checked it for dead cells or fluid levels?
You'll probably see a difference once you clean your grounds up. One upgrade I can recommend to anyone is to put a larger ground cable. I run 0 gauge.

yeah I thought, a couple dead cells or something so I tossed a battery from another truck and it fired right up. I went and bought a new battery, put it in and nothing. The ground cable for the battery is also pretty new.
