alrerator is fixed

thanks to all who helped me trace down my problem.
i took my alternator to a local shop and tanked to them and they did a total rebuild on it for $106.
checked it when i put it back on and today and it has been putting out a constant 14 volts, so all seams well with it and i got a one year warrenty.
now im tracing down an oil leak somewhere in the engine vally.
i soaked everything down in meangreen cleaner today and let it soak for a while then washed it all off.
im hopeing i can find it now.
iv ran it then took a mirrow and looked all around, at the nonservice plug ,oil lines, the round plate on the back of the hpop. i cant see the pedestal on the terbo.i have a small mirrow on an extendable rod that i use to look at the inside of my welds at work, ill bring it home monday and see if i can see any better.
i did notace something funny, iv notaced it leaks on my carport more after i drive hard, so i had it parked and was reving the motor, when i got around the red line rpm it would cut out or maybe romp is a better word.
is this the truck reaching the defuel mark. to keep people like me from blowing it up maybe.
any way thanks for the alternator help. i priced around and i saved around $80-$90 going to a local rebuild shop and i feel more confident with it.
a friend of mine's dad owns a mechanic shop and uses this alternator shop , he told me that they have always done good work for them.

That's good to hear, glad your satisfied. I'm planning on taking mine to a local shop and doing the same thing. Hope it turns out as well as yours. And you find your oil leak.
