While picking up my skidplate at the local salvage yard I was also looking at a first gen sploder for the seats. I tool some time and noticed the sploder has pretty much everything I`ve been looking for in a sploder. Manual Tcase, 5 speed, and manual hubs. Heck, it`s even blue! interior is nice, gray in color. It`s missing the wheels, passenger front door, and heater controls. Yard owner said it was driven to it`s location but can`t remember what was wrong with it.. I`m tempted to see what he wants for the whole thing to build in the garage over the next year!
This place is like someone with an addiction asking another addict if they should continue.
Hey guys, I just found another neat Ford, should I buy it. It is in the bottom of the river and has been there for 40 years, but it might be a 32 pickup. I can get it for $500 and it will only take about another $50,000 to get it running. What do you think?
I once saw a guy get a german 1/2 track out of the Ionian sea using waterbed matresses, and ping pong *****. It was about 50 ft down and about a 1/2 mile off shore. It had been there since WWII. It Didn't start though :-)
Justin, it might have a salvage title, but that really wouldn't stop getting it titled and licensed. If they have the title and it is clean, they can just transfer it.
