Floor Jack not working anymore

I bought a $100 big jack from Sams club. Roush racing. Worked great for about 2 years. Now it won't hold my truck up and won't barely even jack up. I thought this would be related to grease but I don't see a plug. Is is screwed?

There is a small seal that can go bad. Mine does this some times.

On my craftsman it has a small plug for a flat head screwdriver. It did the same thing as yours, it just needed fluid and it work again.

Try to exchange it if you don't want to mess with fixing it, Sams used to be pretty easy to exchange things, I think they still carry that jack, they would probably exchange it without a reciept, if it doesn't look like it has been abused.

It's pretty tore up. Where was the screw driver piece located?

On the very top of the cylinder, my other floor jack has a round rubber filler plug on the top it. if you can, post a pic of your jack.

Take that cover off with the 2 bolts in it. And your filler plug should be under there

I was on my phone and didn't see the second pic the filler plug is the round cap sticking up on the cylinder itself. Right above the do not adjust sticker. Its in the middle, you will haft to use a screwdriver to pry the cap off, on my craftsman it was a pain in the a** to get back on.
