engine swap?
I have a 79 4x4 which i have a 460 in right now and i have a 60's truck 2x4 with a 390 with headers my question is will the 390 2x4 headers fit in the 4x4 will the headers clear? I dont care if i have to do a little hammering to make it work they are not that great i'm doing this swap because i'm selling the 79. Anyone have any idea what i can do? i don't want to put alot into it just want to sell it.
I would not put the old 60s 390 in, leave as is and it may sell better. I know I would not touch it after it had been done. As far as fitting, I have no idea.My $ .02 worth.
