JoWilker could you tell me, in detail, every thing that I'm going to need to get from this 73 truck so I will not leave anything and have to pay more if I had to return for p/s and power brake parts. Thanks Kevin Felix
i agree with Jowilker. see if he''s bring you the truck and come get it when youre done as i have done this coversion twice and murphy says you will spend that much money traveling back and forth looking for the half dozen minor pieces to you for got to take with you and there will be a bunch of them. then if you wanna convert you can change out the brake pedal assembly and be rid of the clutch pedal and also bring the brake switch under the dash. this item is a direct bolt in. He will not bring me the truck, but the salvage yard is just a couple miles from my home. We live in a very small town of about 7500 to 8000 people.
Although it will be a little inconvient they guys at the salvage yard have and will be a great help in taking of and giving me imformation about how to take of my truck and how to put back on. I wish they would bring it to my house, but if they did then it would be more diffucult for them to give me the information, They would not want to come to the house. I guess it's best if I just get the parts needed and start on this project. I'll be needing info from you'll so I'll say thanks in advance. Kevin Felix
Is there any links posted on this forum that describe (tell) these two projects p/s and p/b conversions for a 1965 F100, using the 1973-1976 partsto make this conversion. Thanks Kevin Felix
John I could use a little help, can you;'' tell me what the body style of a 73-76 Ford F100 looks like and the difference look of a 77 and later models were. Thanks in advance Kevin Felix
Keven 61-66 Slicks, 67-73 bumpsides for the bumpout, 73-79 dentsides because of the curve in, 73-76 FE engine, 73-77 look alike, 78-79 same body, square headlights.
JoWilker, I sorry if this is a stupid question but I need to clarify something. In post #9 you stated Locate 73-76 F100 and then in post #23 you referred saying google 1976 F150. Will either truck work a F100 or a F150. Thanks in advance Kevin Felix
