frame specs? 4x4 conversion?

hey guys, i got a 94 single cab longbed xlf150 2wd that id like to make 4x4, has anybody on here done this? also wondering if anybody knows where i can find frame specs on both 4x4 and 2x4 92-96 f150s. id like to use a coil sprung dana44 out of a late 70s fseries or bronco, i know its not the strongest axle but im just looking to do some lightduty wheelin to get me to the good fishin spots

The frames are the same thickness, the 4x4 has a section at the front that is boxed, tho.

No, the crossmember is the same. If you were converting to TTB then it would be a bolt-up operation.

its the same frame, and the boxing of the frame has nothing to do with the conversion.

oh it a great front end for light duty wheeling, id much prefer to go with the dana44 but the tib direct bolt in is making it a little tuff to decide, i guess ima let my wallet make the decision. but the dana44 would be way more B.A

The TTB uses a Dana 44 as well.
