hey there wanna see what you all no about swaping an auto trans out for a manual trans, its on a 93 7.3 f350 4x4, i have a doner truck with the 5 speed and the works. thanks 4 you help

If the donor truck had a 7.3 it is pretty straight forward. If it is a gasser it is a no go. The tranny for the 6.9-7.3 has to be just that, from a 6.9 or 7.3. The tranny from the early powerstrokes will work also. The clutch peddel, clutch master and slave cylinders can come from a gasser though.

yeah its a 7.3 as well it has an ats turbo i put on it, it just a reg cab f250 and has seen better days, the 93 i wanna do the swap on is a crew cab, f350 it was a single wheel but i barrowed the frontend for my 96 f250 crew, so i made it a dully, just wanted a 5 speed auto kida scare me you no. thanks a lot with your help

yeah got you there, they are both 4x4. hey on my 96 crew would doing a swap like this be harder on it with all its comp and all??? i love my manuals just scared 2 throw 2 much powwer 2 an auto. and this truck is getting up ther in power and troqe
