So before snow fall i need a new set of tire on my 2001 ford ranger 4wd. I have a set of Cooper A/T and iv liked them got 40 thousand on them, but not sure if i wanna go with them again. Iv been lookin at Hankook dynapro ATS. Most of my driving right now while im in school is mostly highway, but i live on a farm so they need to be somewhat good in mud and snow also. So tell me what ya think of those 2 brands or if ya have any recomendations for me let me know.
I had BF Goodrich AT on my Mountaineer. They where good in the snow and not to bad on the light mud. There quiet and have pretty deep tread. I think I got around 40,000 plus on them when I replaced them with something more aggressive for what I use it for. They still had 6/32nd of tread on them when I took them off, so I sold them.
Just a thought, I changed the stock AT's at 32,000 because of the noise with Bridgestone's Revo 2's. Worked great for me this last winter in the ice and snow and very quiet ride on the highway.
