Just removed the fuel filter housing and completely rebuilt everything. 1996 PowerStroke
Cranked up still have a leakkkk. It looks as best as I can tell right now after throwing things and yellin at nothin(I'm sure we have all been there); under the "pump"?Brass looking thing under the turbo.
I tried to tighten the big nut on the back , no difference....
What could be leaking in that area????
If I take that nut off and check washer do I need to drain everything again ?
Yea I replaced all the hoses and tried to tighten the Banjo nut when I rebuilt the Filter Housing.
Good thing I work at a parts house as this is getting deep in the pocket.
Can I get the pump out without removing the filter housing(that I just put back in)?????
I know it's a pita, but It's a lot eazier to have the the housing out of the way.
Also make it eazier to use the filter housing to get the rubber fuel hoses back on, least it was for me.

Is there a electric fuel pump option out there?
Yes you can.I am sure there are several on here that have done it.Install a Walbro,Motorcraft or Airdog electric fuel pump but you have to buy the cover that seals where the manual pump was on the intake man.
