Another Mirror Question

I have an 02 Ex and want to upgrade my mirrors to TT ones. I have the turn signal, heated, power mirrors will the new style mirrors work as in 2009 and up or will only the older ones fit?? If anyone has a dealer part number for either one that would be great. I have searched the board but if there is a posting I missed please give me the link

02xxx,

here is a link where you can get the 2010 & 2011 type mirrors for cheap... I have a 02 Ex also. You will need to make sure that yours has the flat type plug on the mirror and then make sure that the mirror you order allready has the flat plug on it and it will plug right up and you wont have to cut any wires. Most likely it does because thats how mine is.

this is the one that is the older curved type tow mirror on the older trucks.... look in the pics at the plug... that is the type of plug you should be looking for so that you wont have to cut any wires. It will plug into your factory harness and 3 bolts and you are good to go.

Yes the newer style will fit with a very slight modification. There is a small nib on the newmirrors that gets cut off and then they bolt right up to existing spot. The wiring is what will take you a little longer. You can go the simple manual pull out to tow or go the spendy route with the full power extend/fold. Look on Ed's site for the best price new oem at partsguyed.com I think. He can get the power ones also, he just doesn't advertise them in the deals area because of the extra switches and wiring that you have to put in. This has all been done and documented well in the super duty forum as well as here.
Good luck either way you go. Oh and after the conversion the morn is to take pics and post them here so we can all admire.

the 05 TT mirrors are a direct bolt on, to make sure take off your door panel and check the wiring it needs to match the picture in the previous post
