I just bought my first 2000 excursion v10 and it came with a exhaust brake of some sort. Not sure what it is. I asked the service manager at the dealership from who I bought it from, he said he remebered when they came out along time ago from the dealership and they were exspensive, but he was to busy to explain it to me. Have you all seen this before. I can twist a **** at idle and it definetly kills the engine down quite a bit, but not really sure exactly what it is yet and Im a little nervous to try it out on the road. It doesnt have any company names on the module, nor does it light up or anything. Im guessing it was a factory dealer add on back in the day from what i squeezed out of the service manager. Any info would help. Thanks. Its a gas and not diesel motor! Here are pics of the controler. http://s762.photobucket.com/albums/xx268/cmtomlin16/
