I was browsing the net the other night and ran accross this program to view your vehicle with different wheel selections. I know there are others out there but his one allows you to change vehicle height, color, and rim size. They affer a wide selection of vehicles including 61-66 body style (sorry , no step sides) Check it out. American Racing.com Heres my version of my truck.
Hey Kenny, Looks like your non Custom Cab truck has a chrome bumper. LOL
Yeah, its actually a 65 custom cab they used for the software, I removed the trim and script but the bumper or a rollpan will find a home on my truck.
Can that picture be manipulated? I'd like to test out some different graphics or flames before I actually paint the truck. After you set up the truck they way you want on the website, press ALT+PRINT SCRN to copy the image on the screen. Then open up your Paint program and paste it there. Save the image as a bit map (BMP) and edit the color and all of the stuff around the truck. Once done, Save the file. You can then drw flames and stuff as you want to customize it and use the SAVE AS feature to save the original "stock" truck for the next Idea.
Either I am doing something wrong or AR didn't like everyone doing this and changed their website because the option to view your vehicle with different wheel is no longer there! I was messing around with it last weekend, but when I tried to find it today it was gone...
Well, I'm sorry guys. I was just looking at this Friday at work for a friend and the link was there. Just finished looking for it again and your right, it's gone. I guess it was bogging the server for them or the software manufacturer made them remove it. Check out the link to order your own package. They have a demo available for download also. It looks like this is working again. I saved a copy using print screen and edited it using Photoshop. Now I have an image I can give to the paint shop when I get my 64 repainted!
