2005 6.0 PSD HG replacement
took the truck to the dealer since antifreeze was coming out of the reservoir and diagnosed that they have to replace the head gasket and quoted me $6,100 (their labor rate is $142/hr....in San Jose, CA)
Seems a bit high: what you guys think would be a fair price and amount of hours for the job?

see this is killing me with the whole pull the cab thing. Not everybody pulls cabs. some of us do what the book says to do.
also pull a cab on a lifted truck can still be more of a pain then a stock cab but that varies from lift to lift as well as hight.
