Door Ajar Light

My door ajar light tends to stay on longer than usual after both doors have been securely shut. The dome light sometimes satys on as well but after a while longer than normal it goes off. Anyone have any experiences with this problem. I have a 1997 f150 xlt flareside 3 door 4.2 l 6 cyl.
