i've seen on here a few things about a cali model for our engines. what is that and how do you know if yours is one.
is there any real gain in shimming your FPR, and what should the fuel pressure be setting around so if i do i dont blow anything.
and i have recently discovered fuel inside the valley i cant tell where its leaking from yet, i'm going to get int there and clean out the valley so i can see where its leaking from, but suggestions as to where and how to fix it would be greatly appreciated.
there is a sticker on the pass side valve cover that will tell you if it is a cali model. also, the fuel pump looks like a flying saucer. see the disc under the turbo?...
Like you said, could be. Could also be the filter housing or a fuel line. Probably gonna do just what you said and clean it out to find out for sure where its coming from.
cali engines also have larrger, 120cc split shot injectors vs the stock 49 state 90cc single shot injectors. makes a little difference in the git up
you could have one of the old fuel lines cracked from heat and weaping, of the fuel pump could leak out the weaphole under the bajo bolt. best way is to clean up and watch were it pools from.
i myself have come to the conclusion on a diesel, if its not leaking, something is wrong LOL
i like that conclusion. haha i just fixed a leak in hose on my rear fuel tank. ha i'll clean it out see whats going on and let yall know what it is once i get it fixed.
is that sticker te sticker for the cali model??? and why is it different horse power at different rpms between the f-sereis and the e-
series
haha definitly. i saw on here something about it can be replaced with a 1/8th in NPT plug. i looked on home depot's website and searched it and it came up as an air hose attachment. is that right and if its not where can i get one of those plugs?
