Ranger grill emblem install help?

Ranger grill emblem install help?
Has anyone installed the red Ranger grill insert? Just received my emblem ('69 f250) and after looking closely, i dont see how it attaches, it seems as though there should be some type of retainer clips etc..... thanks for your help.

When FoMoCo supplied the C8TZ8259A .. 1968/69 Ranger Grille Emblem, it came with (2) C8TZ8B386A retainers.
Both the emblem and retaining clips are obsolete. No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

When I got my '68, the Ranger emblem insert was in good shape but just rattling around inside the frame. I pulled it off and used industrial adhesive (epoxy) to glue it in place. 4 years later it hasn't budged.

I assume you bought a repro Ranger grille emblem. I looked in DC's catalog, there is no mention of any retaining clips, but...
