I'd say crawl under it and look at the driveshaft u-joints for wear/breakage, and play in the slip yoke...
Don't think I've ever heard of shaking or rattling the whole truck from a driveshaft, unless its really, really gone out... Anything wrong with a driveshaft that would shake the whole truck should be quite obvious to see or feel the play.. But Front axle u-joints if its 4x4, Or wheel bearings come to mind. Or alignment out of spec can shake at low speed and stop at higher..
I'd suspect a tire as well. If you can feel it in the steering wheel, the issue is up front...if not, it's in back. I just had a CV joint basically disintegrate internally on my dshaft, and while it made a helluva racket and wobbled around like no tomorrow, it still didn't shake the entire truck. I'd start by looking for a thrown tire weight and 'eggs' in the tread or sidewalls and finally a broken belt.
Mine started at around 45mph though... and it shook the whole truck enough for me to seriously worry.
I crawled under the truck and checked the U-Joints, but they all seemed fine. I decided to replace them anyway as it was the cheapest thing to start with and when I pulled the one off the back of the transfer case, it fell to pieces and half the bearings were gone or flattened.
Put a new U-Joint on and the whole truck is now smooth as butter.
Check your U-Joints, but a visual inspection doesn't always show the whole story.
Start first with checking your U-joints for play and jack up the wheels and check to make sure there isn't any play there. If there isn't, then I'd have the tires balanced. You could have a bad tire. From the sounds of it, the way your truck rattles, you "should" be able to tell if a U-joint is out or wheel bearing out on visual inspection.
Ive checked all the u joints ant they all seem fine. It all started when i dropped the drive shaft trying to burn out. i replaced the slip yoke as it was pretty baged up from hitting the ground. i have 35 inch tires could it have tweeked a rim maybe? they are american racing all aluminum rims
