Buying a Ranger
I am looking into buying a ranger. I have found a 2003 FX4 LVL II for 10k with 97,000 miles. Does this sound like a decent deal? Let me know if i left anything out.

Thats a horrible deal. I bought my ranger when it was 5 years old with 90k miles for 6500, out the door.
V6, Supercab, 4x4 all the goodies, off road package, same as the one your describing.
Now thats a good deal if your talking about pesos hahahaha.

A manual tranny & transfer case aren't necessary for a Level II. Mine doesn't have them...

$10K is the ASKING price from the dealer. If it looks good and is in good condition (subject to a thorough inspection by a reputable mechanic), then offer the dealer what you think that it's worth. Be sure to get to know the market value or going rate of that type of truck by checking the Net....local prices vary.
