I was thinking about putting a plow on my truck, but I hear alot of bad stories about probles later down the line.
Then I thought - get a real light weight one.
Any suggestions on name bran and ease of use?
For personl use. I have 2- 8 hp snow blowers that I trailered around, but dragging the trailer through 2 ft of snow got me stuck a few tmes. Lucky my nokian snow tires workes great. got stuck on a larger 3ft construcion embankment, but managed to drive off.
I PUSH SNOW AND WOULD NOT USE A NEW TRUCK UNLESS YOU MAKE AN INSANE AMOUNT OF MONEY SO YOU CAN TRADE IT IN 2 YEARS!!! I RUN OLD BRONCOS THAT I BUY FOR UNDER 1000. AND PUT MY PLOW ON UNTIL SHE DIES THEN BUY ANOTHER AND TEAR IT UP.
if your gona plow snow, the biggest suggestion i can make is to put manual hubs on if you have autos, and if you have a f-150 from 97-03 forget it ford doesn't recomend it
