Unhappy '89 351w won't start?????

Hi all. I've got an '89 Bronco with a 351w. Recently, after putting in a new high volume oil pump, it started acting up. Over a period of a week and a half or so, while driving at around 55 or 60 mph, it would cut out... no warning, no sputtering, just died suddenly. After pulling over, it would start right back up and run fine. Then last week, it just wouldn't start anymore! It turns over and tries to catch, but not quite. If I spray starting fluid in the throttle body, it will start and run for a few seconds but then dies. I assumed this meant the fuel pressure was too low. I checked the relays, put in a different pressure regulator & external fuel pump, a new filter, and the in tank pump is only a month old. The only code in the computer is code 35, but i'm not really sure what that is. I have no idea where to go next. If anyone has any ideas, I would LOVE to hear them. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Get a fuel pressure gauge from Sears or borrow one from a parts store, and check this code list. (Always clear the codes after you read them.)

Hi Steve. Thanks for the reply. I'll try checking the pressure tomorrow. I'm unfamiliar with the EVP mentioned in the description of code 35. Can this cause a "no run" condition?

Thanks again,
Jen

Scratch that last question. I just realized the EVP is the sensor on the EGR valve
