I have had good reliable use out of the Interstate batteries as long as you get the better versions. My two this time were 85 month batteries and had a 30 month FREE replacement warranty. After that it was $1.76 per month that I had them total. I had them 38 months and had to pay $66.88 per battery for two batteries and got a new warranty. It started yesterday. I have them in all of my vehicles and this is the first issue I have ever had. I actually think that the alternator started all of my woes.

You're correct...I wasn't thinking when I wrote that. Series would be 24v, Single Battery Amperage, Parallel would be 12V, Double Amps, (which is what we use) and Series Parallel would be 24V, Double Amperage. (Think M1 series Tank with 8 batteries)

series + parallel would be FOUR batteries...... can do both with only 2 batts...
so far i'm 8 months in on 2 refurb/blemish interstates. No problems so far, and only sunk $60 in them together.
