overdrive problem
I have a 99 powerstroke the O.D. light stop working for a while but when the button pressed it would take the tran. out of o.d. Now when pressed nothing happen tran shift same as always which is very good. What could be the problem?

It usually is a broken wire where it enters the shifter handle inside the steering column. Remove the plastic cover from the column and inspect the wires. Either fix them or replace the shifter for about $50.
