with 600k would it be reliable? i know diesels are built to last long but i believe i read that these idis are only good for about 350-400k? just wanna make sure cause it will be my daily!
yeah not to be wicked but the guy seems a bit off kilter with 600K. I would be floored if he could prove that, not to say it isnt possible just would like to see how it was tracked. i am with oreo on that one. 1500 seems ok but i would have to see it. I ended up not getting a 500 dollar truck even though the body was solid. The trans was blown which i knew, but the engine had eaten a GP and made a horrible sound....ka kang ka kang man i just walked, even with the turbo on it. it was an old CTS turbo but looked like beaten mud. yes that bad haha

That's crazy, I wanna go look at it but I haven got an email nor phone call back. Ill let you guys know what happens.
looks nice and solid.
if she's pretty much all together and runs,as solid as that looks,it could be a pretty good deal on a 4x4.
could be a huge $ pit too though.you'll know more when you talk to the guy and go check it out.
grab the front wheel/u joints and see if their loose.cheap fix but a not so fun job (expensive to have done im sure.)
bring a test strip with you and dip the coolant.if the strip = white, that means sca's are not present, and may never have been.
inspect the battery cables closely..etc.etc.etc lol.
start it.put it in neutral, and shift into 4 low.feel all shift points closely.
lock the hubs and drive in a circle on pavement slowly.if she hops, you know it locks into 4wd at least.unlock the hubs, put her in 2 hi and go for a ride.
keep us posted.
