trans not going into overdrive?
I HAVE A 95 PSD, E4OD AFTER I BOUGHT IT I NOTICED THE BUTTON ON THE SHIFTER WAS NOT WORKING ALL THE TIME. I HAD TO HIT IT A COUPLE OF TIMES BEFORE THE LIGHT CAME ON.
THEN THE BUTTON QUIT WORKING COMPLETLY. BUT THE TRANS SHIFTED FINE INTO ALL GEARS(INCLUDING OD)
NOW WHILE I WAS DRIVING IT WOULD NOT GO INTO OVERDRIVE AND THE BUTTON DOES NOT WORK AT ALL.

I'm not sure, but it sounds like maybe the O/D switch is bad... IF it's not too hard to remove, then it might be worth testing the switch first.

mine just altogether quite one day, the button and the OD, it is still under warrenty so i took it in, the dealer fixed it in about 1/2 hour, they said some plug had come apart. Might try followin the wires up under the steering wheel??
