*Tip for the WWII model builders:
You can stick clear plastic wrap to balsa wood frames with cyanoacrylate glues, if you work one rectangle at a time.
The same thing can be done with shiny aluminum foil - but be very careful of scoring the foil as you stretch it.
On "Planked" surfaces any water soluable glue can be thinned, and a rag can be used to smooth foil over the wood. Again - be careful not to score it. The end result is an authentic looking aluminum "SKIN"
