RCD or Icon
I have a 2010 f-250 4x4 cc,lb that I want to put a 2.5 in lift on and I am stuck between the rcd and the icon. And I also want to keep my stock 17 x 7.5 wheels , will a 285 75 17 work or would a 295 70 17 work better.

Either of those tires will work. I have 295/70/17 on my stock 2005 F250 with no lift. I have no rubbing anywhere. I would rather have the 285/75/17 tires without a doubt. I like narrower (285 versus 295) and taller. I think the 285 tire you mention is about 1/2" taller than the 295. Also, are those Toyos you're looking at?
As far as the lift is concerned I don't have an opinion, except not to lift it, but that's just me.

I figured they were the Toyos. I hadn't seen many 295/70/17s out there and kicked myself when I found the Toyo in 285/75/17 (the size I originally wanted) but had already bought Coopers in 295/70/17.
