Just bought an old (new to me) 1980 Ford F-150 with a V8 302 cid Windsor in it. I have a few questions
1. Whats the best/most economical way to do a tuneup and make sure i start off on the right foot, or compensate for poor truck maintanance issues in the past? I don;t know if the truck was babied or roughed up.
2. Can I run 15W-40 (Warren Lubriguard) in it? I also purchased some STP treatment with Zinc in it for the flat tappet issue that kept popping up. I am in Central Illinois, and am expecting a fairly mild winter.
3. Any nuggets of advice for using this truck as a household go-to-menards trip truck/drive in the winter instead of my new, close your eyes die hard ford owners, Camaro? GASP!!!! He has a Chevy to!!!???
