hey all,
I was driving my truck this weekend doing 70 mph.
I was going around a curve and hit a bump with the left front tire and the front end started shaking violently. It was all I could do to get the thing stopped without crashing. Has anyone had this happen and what could be the cause? My truck is a 96 F-250 PSD with one ton axles (Straight axle front D-60) This also happened once when I still had the TTB front end.
Any help is appreciated Thanks in advance.
Mines done it on few occasions started doing it again just resently. It is mostly bad shocks they have 1/2 million Km's on them, when I back up the tires lean-in really bad going forward there straight. Ball joints are new Tie rods,(inner and outer are new) the steering box isn't that old either. I just hang on slow down until I get time to fix it. Oh ya I have new wheel bearing yet to go in too.
Rotate your tires see if it goes away, check your shocks, ball joints, tie rods. Good luck cause it will never go away forever.
