Warranty issues

Anyone had any warranty work done at a dealer who you DID NOT purchase from? Any problems?

Bought my truck in Blair, Nebraska. The clutch fan failed in Indiana. The dealer would have gladly fixed it but the part would take 2 days to get. I drove it home, took it to a local dealer I know and he fixed it NQA.

All dealers are required to perform warranty work regardless of where the vehicle was purchased.

Haven't had to have warranty work done yet, but being a first model year I expect some. We buy from Ford, not from dealers, so whatever we may have done will fit your criteria.

My dealer has serviced any of the Fords I've brought in. It did not matter where I bought them. I am pretty sure, he makes WAY more money on service than he does off any possible sale he might get from me.
