4.6L 3-V V8 Problems??
I have a 2010 F-150 XLT Crew Cab 4WD with the 4.6L 3-valve V8. I like the truck so far. It's got 5,000 miles and no problems. Of course, that's only 5,000 miles. :-) I'd like to be aware of any problems with this engine. Is it basically the same engine as the 4.6L 2-valve V8? Because if so, I already know I can rely on it for 200K+ miles. I just want everybody's opinion and info on here. I've already asked this question on Yahoo! answers and 2 people answered me and said that the 4.6L has been reliable in all its forms. What does everybody think on FTE?

All of the modular engines are overall pretty reliable. They all have their problems, but with proper care they'll go a lot of miles. If you live in the northern half of the country, the body will rot out before the powertrain gives out.
