2004 4.6L Expedition question

I recently bought a used 2004 Expedition Eddie Bauer for my wife. It's a low mileage creampuff in great shape. But there was no owner's manual.

The truck's got 98,000 miles on it so it's time for some routine maintenance.

- How can I tell which 4.6L motor is in the truck? (2 valve / 3 valve)
- Do both motors use the same SP515 plug?

Thanks!

2004 expeditions only came with the 2v engines. 5.4 and 4.6 both were 2v. The easy way to tell a 2v from a 3v is the 2v engines came with black plastic valve covers the 3v engines came with aluminum covers . The sp515 plugs came in the three valve engine
