I just bought a 2010 E350 5.4L without the factory installed TBC
What I want to know is... Is the wiring already there behind the dash for it anyway? And If so, where is the wiring harness in the rear of the truck to hook up the trailer brake connector?
I found the OEM TBC from ford, but can I just hook it up?
Too new for me to know. You might see if the dealer has a retro-fit kit. I am not positive, but I would think the system would have a pressure transducer on the brake system that you might not have?
They don't go into much detail in that post in the link, but I am wondering if the "new master cylinder" they are talking about has some sort of pressure sensor inside it. And I see in the above post like everything else, you cannot do anything without re-programming the computer network on the truck.
