Question on steering Column...

Would a 1954 Mercury Sterring Column work on a 1958 Ford Truck...

Wilson,
I have a '78 GM tilt column in my '59 which is married to a Toyota PS box. Doesn't exactly answer your question, but during the install, I remember my mechanic saying that almost anything can be made to work; some just need more fabrication than others (joints, gears, etc). On a side note: why do you want a '54 column in your '58?

Better condition turn signals etc... Maybe a 54 but was treated a lot better... Thanks for the reply...

Question on steering Column...

Hi, The steering columns are a different lenth. 53-55 same, 56-60 same lenth. I just sold my 55 column so I can't tell you the difference, sorry.
