Serpentine belt replacement

Searched but didn't come up with much. Looking to replace serpentine belt and maybe all pulleys and tensioners. How many do I need? What tools? Any tips? This site has been great so far!

Truck is 2002 v10 2wd. Just changed air filter, cleaned maf and throttle body, and changed pcv with associated hose/elbow. Smokes the tires even more now

You'll need a 1/2" drive breaker bar or long ratchet to take the tension off the belt at the tensioner. Obviously you will need a ratchet some metric sockets (around 13mm-15mm) to remove the idler and tensioner pulleys. To remove the tensioner pulley you will have to remove the 3 bolts that hold the tensioner assembly on and then unbolt pulley. You can replace the bearings if they are in bad shape. I just did this on my truck to check the belt and regrease the idler and tensioner pulley bearings. The bearings were like new so I popped off the bearing seal, regreased them and put the shields back on. I have done this before and it works well when done right.
