That's my goal... so many no-name kits are out there and I don't like it too much. You don't know which is real and which isn't! I've run both filaments before and it made enough light to where I was comfortable. The reason your harnesses melted because they weren't made for that wattage... an upgraded harness would've solved that problem. But I appreciate the post... I have thought about it, but to do it right, I'd have to buy projector lenses and not only are they expensive, but I don't like the looks. I'm looking for a tough look and projectors are more for the sporty, pretty trucks IMO. Just me, though...

I see I see. They do have cheap kits for a 55w hi/low kit. I forget the site but they had them for $60 or so with a warranty. I paid $140 or so for my hi/low setup. IMO well worth the money spent.
